What an exciting day we had as we celebrated Mardi Gras here at Esperanza. King Donald and Queen Trudy led the box parade through the streets of Esperanza as they threw doubloons to the spectators, Mardi Gras trivia challenged us all, we feasted on delicious refreshments including a huge King Cake, cajun popcorn and Eye of the Hurricane drinks. Party hats, masks, horns and beads abound as we partied down. We can hardly wait until next year's party!
